Viacom and Pizza Hut throw down during ACL Music Fest Weekend 1 with a lineup that kept the party going all night long.

As the line accumulated outside the Pizza Hut bus parked next to the beautiful American Legion Hall, it was a scene reminiscent of elementary school lunchtime. People were hungry after a long day of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, Oct. 5, and they wanted their pizza, dammit. An employee started getting the crowd fired up by interviewing people to speak on Pizza Hut’s latest debut: three-cheese stuffed-crust pizza.

Cheese aside, the Discover Great Music Lounge, presented by Viacom networks CMT, MTV, MTV2 and VH1, was an after party to be remembered (or not, depending on how many Strongbow Ciders and Tito’s cocktails were consumed), headlined by ACL act Walk the Moon. Other acts included country duo Striking Matches and a DJ set by Penguin Prison. The favorite unexpected act of the night came from soul pop artist, Nabiha, who blew the crowd away with her powerful sound.

Celebrities, music enthusiasts, media, artists and bands all danced the night away inside and out of American Legion Hall, celebrating the talents of the acts, strong cocktails and, of course, Pizza Hut’s three-cheese stuffed-crust pizza.
