See your favorite bands without an Austin City Limits wristband.

By Katie Paschall

This year, for the first time in history, the Austin City Limits Music Festival will include two weekends: Oct. 4 through 6 and Oct. 11 through13. The newly extended ACL Fest guarantees more music, booming business citywide and the chance to spot your favorite lead singer at your preferred local hang out.

With a flood of talent rushing to Central Texas at the same time, local music venues have taken full advantage of booking shows in between the weekends. If you did not purchase an ACL ticket or want to see your favorite band twice, you could catch them at a smaller venue during the week.

Deap Vally, Eric Church, The Black Angels, Queens of the Stone Age, the National and many more will extend their magic to post-festival shows at venues in Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas.
