Film School Rejects, an Austin-based blog founded by Neil Miller, is the culmination of everything you could want in a blog dedicated to film. Created in 2006, this corner of the Internet was used as a space for writers to talk about particular movies. Today, the blog covers everything from the new poster design of Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem, to surviving a dysfunctional family get-together. This isn’t just your run-of-the-mill movie blog. Film School Rejects provides movie and television reviews, news stories on the film industry, feature stories from talented contributors and even film commentary through the podcast. For the Austinite heading out to the Alamo Drafthouse, or any movie aficionado in the Internet, this blog is a great place to see what people have to say about specific movies you’ve been dying to see.
